- Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting businesses and set appointments to do a Needs Analysis to discover potential marketing oppurtunities
- Doing thorough research on the client's industry
- Developing a unique advertising strategy for your clients
- Preparing a written proposal of your research and strategies & present them to the client
- Persueding your client to invest in your idea
- Implementing the advertising campaign & introduce additional or follow-up campaigns to that same business

- Promotions Internships-Fall 2008

- This is a semester-based internship with specific responsibilities while learning all aspects of Promotions, Event Planning, Contesting, and Radio Broadcasting. This position is unpaid and can be used as college credit.
- The Intern will help provide outstanding service to Zimmer Radio Group clients and assist in the organization of contesting and specific Promotional events help by Zimmer Radio Group.
- Duties will include:
- Assisting Promotions Director with event planning & contesting
- Working with the promotions department to brainstorm and come up with new promotional ideas for 9 radio stations to help generate additional revenue
- Researching industry facts and help the promotions department plan creative promotional events
- Researching web design and comparing top radio station's web pages in order to get new ideas for advancement in web marketing
- Assistance with current website development
- Assistance with coordinating broadcasts and contesting at Missouri State Fair
- In studio observation of five Zimmer Radio Group stations
- Assisting sales & promotions by directing and coordinating Live Broadcasts from client's businesses
- Designing promotional materials though Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- College Credit:
- A Zimmer Radio Group Intern will be required to earn college credit (within the standards of your university) and be expected to work 15-20 hours a week during normal business hours and Saturdays (hours will vary weekly)
- Your progress will be reviewed by the Promotions Director and reported to your university
- Future oppurtunities with Zimmer Radio Group will be dependent on your review as an intern
